Working with Broadway In Chicago has been amazing!
1. Piano tuning requires listening carefully to the beating strings and measuring intervalic relationships. Therefore please plan for your environment to be quiet during the tuning.
2. If you've never had full service, It's crucial to do so. You'd be surprised at the amount of dust, debris and random objects found inside can really make a difference in the overall tone and feel of the instrument.
3. All pianos should be routinely tuned 1 to 4 times per year. If your piano doesn't hold a tuning for at least 1 to 3 months, you may need some regulation work to address issues.
